Using unique refining, hydrogenation, distillation techniques, Erie International Group's versatile plant is capable of running both stand alone and integrated processes, generating only the highest value products.

Manufacturing and Processing Capabilities

Erie International Group is able to process raw materials from a variety of sources using our updated de-watering and distillation operation.

From there, EIG can utilize one of three distillation units including our fractional distillation column. EIG also has available multiple standalone hydrogenation reactors allowing for increased flexibility and the ability to convert our fats into hardened, stable products for ease of transport.

For post processing of materials, EIG has a state-of-the art Prilling Tower and 60 000 square foot warehouse with tanks for custom-blended products. Recently added to our finished and packaged product options is a flaker line, giving our customers increased choices in how they would like to receive their finished product.

EIG offers custom blending, packaging and labeling as well as post processing of materials for our clients. With our state-of-the art Prilling Tower, Flaking unit and 60,000 square foot warehouse with storage tanks, our clients trust their final goods will meet quality standards.

The plant incorporates distillation techniques for the separation and purification of oleochemicals. Simple distillation is employed to separate components based on their boiling points. Fractionation, a more precise distillation technique, is used to separate complex mixtures into different fractions based on their boiling point ranges.

Fatty Acids & Oils

Hydrogenenation

Hydrogenation involves the addition of hydrogen gas to the feedstock under controlled conditions, resulting in the saturation of unsaturated fatty acids. Our plant utilizes batch reactors for hydrogenation processes in oleochemical manufacturing.

Batch reactors offer flexibility in processing different quantities and types of feedstocks, allowing for efficient hydrogenation of various oleochemicals.

EIG also has available multiple standalone hydrogenation reactors allowing the ability to turn our fats into hardened, stable products for ease of transport and packaging. We have multiple batch size hydrogenation reactors that are capable of partial and complete hydrogenation depending on your needs.
